Rising health care costs are
threatening to bankrupt the country. According to recent studies
62% of personal debt in the U.S. is attributed to medicine, and
medical bills are the leading cause of bankruptcy. As the recent
Presidential election has shown, the challenge of reducing
health care expenditures while improving the overall quality of
medical care is a major priority for most Americans.

AND MEDICINE includes in-depth profiles of patients, physicians
and executives from two world-renowned hospitals - UCLA Medical

Be a Family Again?) presents n emotional journey through the
eyes of medical professionals, patients and their families. In
his eye-opening documentary, Weisberg investigates the dangers
the nation faces from soaring health care costs as well as the
dangers patients face from over-diagnosis and over treatment.
