Nowhere Boy DVD and Blu-ray Release Date

Saturday, December 4th, 2010

Beatles fans will get a closer look into the early years of music legend John Lennon when Nowhere Boy comes to Blu-ray Disc and DVD on January 25, 2011 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

In 1955, future international rock sensation John Lennon (Aaron Johnson, Kick-Ass) was a mischievous teenage boy living with his Aunt Mimi (Kristin Scott Thomas, Oscar® Nominee for Best Actress in a Leading Role, The English Patient, 1996) in Liverpool, England and trying to reconnect with his free-spirited mother Julia (Anne Marie Duff, Notes on a Scandal). The tensions of his early life would drive young John to escape from the world around him through music, and catapult him to join Paul McCartney (Thomas Brodie Sangster, Love Actually) in the formation of one of the most influential rock ‘n’ roll bands of all time.
