OVERVIEW: Follow the heartfelt and inspirational story of a quiet man who observes the poetic beauty of everyday life in the critically acclaimed film, Paterson, coming to Digital HD on March 21, 2017 and Blu-ray™, DVD and On Demand on April 4, 2017 from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. The latest project from renowned indie film director Jim Jarmusch (Stranger than Paradise, Broken Flowers), Paterson, stars Adam Driver (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Golshifteh Farahani (Exodus: Gods and Kings), William Jackson Harper („The Good Place”), and Method Man (Keanu). After premiering at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival where it was nominated for the prestigious Palme d’Or, Paterson has been praised by critics as „one of the year’s best pictures” (David Fear, Rolling Stone) and has earned a „Certified Fresh” seal on Rotten Tomatoes with a remarkable score of 96%.

SYNOPSIS: Paterson (Driver) is a bus driver in the city of Paterson, New Jersey – they share the name. Every day, he adheres to a simple routine of driving his daily route, where he observes the city as it drifts across his windshield, overhearing fragments of the conversations that swirl around him. He writes poetry into a notebook, walks his dogs, and has exactly one beer at a local bar. By contrast, his loving wife Laura (Farahani) is a dreamer who is constantly inspired by new ideas and ambitious projects, all the while championing Paterson’s gift for poetry. The history and energy of the City of Paterson is a felt presence that unfolds over the course of a single week. In this „wise, winning… and moving” (Vanity Fair) film from acclaimed director Jim Jarmusch, the quiet triumphs and defeats of daily life are observed, along with the poetry that’s evident in its smallest details.

BLU-RAY: The film is presented in widescreen in a 1.85:1 aspect ration preserving its theatrical format. The picture is just flawless. Not only the picture looks great in this release, also the sound it is good, a 5.1 Dolby Digital in English that provides a good complement to the picture. It also includes  English subtitles.
