OVERVIEW: When a biological terrorist threat has been issued against Americans on United Kingdom soil, government organizations put their best agents on the case in Unlocked, arriving on Blu-ray™ (plus Digital HD), DVD, and on Digital HD November 14 from Lionsgate. The film is currently available On Demand. This riveting thriller stars BAFTA nominee Noomi Rapace (Prometheus, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo ), Orlando Bloom (Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, The Lord of the Rings franchise), two-time Academy Award® winner Michael Douglas (Best Actor in a Lead Role, Wall Street, 1987; Best Picture, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, 1975) and Oscar®-nominees John Malkovich (Best Actor in a Supporting Role, In the Line of Fire, 1993; Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Places in the Heart, 1984) and Toni Collette (Best Actress in a Supporting Role, The Sixth Sense, 1999). Directed by Michael Apted (The World Is Not Enough), written by Peter O’Brien, and from the producers behind the acclaimed action blockbusters Red and Salt.

SYNOPSIS: Noomi Rapace stars in this action-thriller as Alice Racine, one of the CIA’s top interrogators, whose career is sidelined after she fails to unlock a prisoner in time to save the lives of dozens of innocent people from a terrorist attack in Paris. Now, leading a quiet life in London as a caseworker, Alice is unexpectedly called back into action when the CIA apprehends a suspect believed to have direct knowledge of another imminent attack. Turning to the few people she can trust (Michael Douglas, John Malkovich, and Toni Collette), Alice seeks out the responsible parties as she races against the clock to prevent a deadly biological attack on the citizens of London.

BLU-RAY: The film is presented in widescreen in a 2.40:1 aspect ration preserving its theatrical format. The picture is just flawless. Not only the picture looks great in this release, also the sound it is good, a 5.1 Dolby Digital in English that provides a good complement to the picture. It also includes  English and Spanish subtitles.
