OVERVIEW:
Based on a true story of survival and bravery, USS Indianapolis:
Men of Courage arrives on Blu-ray (plus Digital HD), DVD and
Digital HD January 24 from Lionsgate. The film is currently
available On Demand. Nicolas Cage stars as the captain of the
USS Indianapolis, a boat tasked with a top-secret mission at the
end of World War II. With remarkable production value, the film
also stars Tom Sizemore and Thomas Jane. From director Mario Van
Peebles (TV’s “Roots,” TV’s “Empire”).
SYNOPSIS: Nicolas Cage, Tom Sizemore and Thomas Jane star in the harrowing tale of real life American heroes shipwrecked in shark infested waters in the waning days of World War II.

The film is
presented in widescreen in a 2.40:1 aspect ration preserving its
theatrical format. The picture is just flawless. Not only the
picture looks great in this release, also the sound it is good,
a 5.1 Dolby Digital in English that provides a good complement
to the picture. It also includes English subtitles.
