REVIEW: THE LOSERS
07/19/10

SYNOPSIS: An
explosive action tale of betrayal and revenge, The Losers
centers around an elite Special Forces unit sent to the Bolivian
jungle on a search-and-destroy mission. But the team – Clay,
Jensen, Roque, Pooch and Cougar – soon find that they have
become the target of a deadly double cross instigated by a
powerful enemy known only as Max. Making good use of the fact
they’re now presumed dead, the group goes deep undercover in a
dangerous plot to clear their names and even the score with Max.
BLU-RAY: The
film is presented in 1080P widescreen in a 2.40:1 aspect ration
preserving its theatrical format. The picture is just flawless,
giving the film the clarity that only high
definition can provide. Not only the picture looks excellent in
this release, also the sound it is good, a 5.1 English DTS-HD Master
Audio (48kHz/24bit). It also includes 5.1 Digital Sounds in
Francais and Spanish that provides a good complement to the
picture.
On July 20th, The Losers will also be available ON DEMAND through Digital Cable, Satellite TV, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game consoles and it can be downloaded for rental or purchase on iTunes and Amazon Video On Demand.
