consciousness at exactly the same moment. Was it an act of nature? Something
man made gone
wrong, or something even more sinister? Whatever it was, every person on Earth blacks out for two
minutes and seventeen seconds and sees a series of events from their own future, taking place on

shockingly unexpected; and for a few, it simply doesn’t seem to exist. Knowing their fate will alter
each person’s life in one way or another and poses the questions: Can destiny be changed? And by
changing just one destiny, what effect would that have on those of others?
REVIEW: From creators Brannon Braga and David Goyer (Dark Night Screenplay) ABC debuted last Fall the intriguing new drama FlashForward. A series that through its first 10 episodes managed engaged audiences and gain some momentum. Momentum that vanished very rapidly in its seconds half, as ratings started disappearing forcing ABC to cancel the show.
The series has a very engaging beginning the first two episodes are probably the best Flash Forward’s episodes of the season. These two episodes provided enough material to allow the show to attract viewers, especially those who love intriguing and mind blowing plots. Because of its well crafted and involving story line, the show turns to be a winner in its first 10 episodes. A good cast selection and creative writing were the keys for Flash Forward during this first 10 episodes, with all episodes airing at the end of last year. The show future looked promising. Unfortunately for fans of the show like me the series took a turn for the worst in its second half. The writing wasn’t as strong as before. The main story became repetitive and many of the new character did not have any purpose in the main story line. This is mainly what kill the show’s rating, forcing ABC to pull the plug with only seven episodes left. Many will argue that the decadency in the show was do to the departure of David Goyer from the writing talent. During the season David Goyer left the show to begin his work in the new Batman film.
Overall there is no doubt that Flash Forward had a good foundation to become a very popular series, however it look like the writers did not have a clear idea as to where to take the show after
its first 10 episodes. To make things worst they were not even able to successfully end the series for the many fans
that probably will be in a total disarrange. At the end Flash Forward proof to be a total disappointment.
