SYNOPSIS: Nerdy
college student Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) has survived the
plague that has turned mankind into flesh-devouring zombies
because he’s scared of just about everything. Gun-toting,
Twinkie-loving Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) has no fears.
Together, they are about to stare down their most horrifying
challenge yet: each other’s company. Emma Stone and Abigail
Breslin co-star in this double-hitting, head-smashing comedy.

DVD: The film is
presented in widescreen with a 2.40:1 aspect ration
preserving its theatrical format. Not only the picture looks
good in this release, also the sound it is good. A Dolby Digital
English and French 5.1 Surround Sound, providing a nice complement to the
picture, it also includes English and French subtitles.
In terms of Special Features
the DVD includes plenty of material worth the time. It includes
an interesting
Commentary with Actors Woody Harrelson & Jesse Eisenberg, Director Ruben
Fleischer, Writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick“. It also
includes deleted scenes as well as three acceptable featurettes
that give viewers a good look on how the film was made.
Overall
"Zombieland" is not a disappointment. It is one
of the nicest surprises of 2009. If you think you have
seen everything about Zombies, think again. Zombieland is just
an adventures funny ride that it will make you laugh from the
first scene. Best Zombie comedy since Shaun of the Dead.
