The story follows Anna (Ricci), a young teacher caught between
life and death, and Eliot, a funeral director (Neeson), who appears to have the gift of
transitioning the dead, but might be a psychopath intent on burying her alive. Chandler plays
Jack, one of Anna's students who is deeply affected by her death, and hangs around the funeral
home with Eliot, with whom he has an unspoken connection.
