Thankfully, PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES, AIRPLANE! and THE NAKED GUN: From the Files of Police Squad make their Blu-ray debut exclusively at Best Buy on September 25 from Paramount Home Entertainment. And don’t call me Shirley.
SYNOPSIS: Written and directed by John Hughes, the hilarious classic PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES stars Steve Martin and John Candy as a businessman and traveling salesman forced together by circumstance as they try to get home in time for Thanksgiving. The Blu-ray features a brand new, in-depth retrospective on
John Hughes’ career that includes new interviews and explores his indelible impact as a writer and filmmaker.

presented in 1080P widescreen in a 2.40:1 aspect ration
preserving its theatrical format. The picture is just
flawless, bringing to perfection the special effects of the film. Not only the picture looks great in
this release, also the sound it is good, a 5.1 DTS-HD Master
Audio (48kHz/24bit) in English and Mono Dolby Digital in
Spanish and Portuguese that provides a
good complement to the picture. It also includes
English. Spanish, French,
and Portuguese subtitles.
