OVERVIEW: Four friends. One big problem. Love and marriage are in the air this June as Lionsgate debuts the romantic comedy Immigration Tango on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand. Two-time winner at both the Boston International Film Festival and the Monaco International Film Festival, the film explores what two couples will do for love, friendship and green cards. Packed with laughs, the film stars Carlos Leon (The Big Lebowski), McCaleb Burnett (The Men Who Stare at Goats), Elika Portnoy (upcoming Sofia) and Ashley Wolfe (Casino Jack). Immigration Tango, featuring an audio commentary with the filmmakers, dances its way to DVD on June 28th
SYNOPSIS: Elena (Portnoy), Carlos (Leon), Mike (Burnett) and Betty (Wolfe) are couples in love and the best of friends. But, when faced with the deportation of Elena and Carlos, the four test the limits on love and their friendship when they agree to swap partners in order to secure green cards. Romantic hijinx ensues and the foursome must keep up appearances or lose each other forever.
