SYNOPSIS: A SyFy Channel co-production, Scream of the Banshee stars Lauren Holly (TV’s “NCIS”) and Lance Henriksen (TV’s “Millennium”). Holly plays an archeology professor who discovers an ornate box in the basement of the university. When the box is opened, it unleashes the bloodcurdling scream of the banshee alluded to in Irish folklore. Not eager to take the threat of looming deaths of those who hear it very seriously, everyone tries to move on until the creature begins to come for them. An original film event, Scream of the Banshee made its debut on SyFy in March 2011.
