OVERVIEW: It’s a race against time to save lives when the sci-fi, action thriller Source Code comes to Blu-ray™ and DVD July 26th from Summit Entertainment. From Director Duncan Jones (Moon) and starring Jake Gyllenhaal (Prince of Persia), Michelle Monaghan (Due Date,Eagle Eye) and Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air, The Departed), Source Code is the critically acclaimed mind-bender centered on a soldier who wakes up in the body of an unknown man and discovers he's part of a mission to identify the bomber of a Chicago commuter train.
Both the Blu-ray and DVD versions are packed with bonus features including audio commentary with Jake Gyllenhaal, director Duncan Jones & writer Ben Ripley. Exclusive to Blu-ray is the dynamic “Access: Source Code,” which gives viewers the option to explore different aspects of the film as the movie plays. This interactive feature offers scene-specific behind-the-scenes information, including exclusive interviews with the cast and crew, pop-up trivia, animated shorts, commentary from scientific experts on time travel and more. The story about one man’s determination to prevent a deadly terrorist attack and a secret government experiment that defies time, space and matter.
SYNOPSIS: When soldier Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) wakes up in the body of an unknown man, he discovers he’s part of an experimental government program called the “Source Code” that enables him to cross over into another man's identity in the last eight minutes of his life. Armed with the task of identifying the bomber of a Chicago commuter train, Colter must re-live the incident over and over again, gathering clues until he can solve the mystery and prevent an even deadlier second terrorist attack.
