OVERVIEW:
Horror fans are cordially invited to witness a day of unholy matrimony in the terrifying new thriller REC 3: Genesis, available November 6th from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The
next chapter in the heart-stopping REC series follows one young couple’s big day as it turns into one big nightmare when a viral outbreak transforms their wedding guests into blood-thirsty zombies. Paco Plaza, writer
and director of the original REC, which inspired the hit movie Quarantine, returns to stage more blood-curdling suspense and shocking moments in this high-octane fright fest. The film stars Javier Botet (original REC
and REC 2), Leticia Dolera (Imagining Argentina, Man Push Cart) and Diego Martin (TV’s “Doctor Mateo,” I Want You). Now, movie fans can now catch the latest “recorded” tale of real-world technology capturing otherworldly horror when REC 3: Genesis breaks out on DVD.
SYNOPSIS:
Koldo and Clara are about to celebrate the most important day of their lives: their wedding. Everything appears to be running smoothly, and the bride, the groom and their families are enjoying a wonderful day in the countryside… until some of the guests start showing signs of a strange illness. Before they know what’s happening, the bride and groom find themselves in the middle of a hellish ordeal, as an uncontrollable torrent of violence is unleashed on the wedding. What started off as an idyllic day quickly descends into a nightmare of the worst kind.
