OVERVIEW: The compelling and provocative drama ADORE makes its Blu-ray, DVD and Digital debut on December 10, 2013 from Paramount Home Media Distribution. Starring Naomi Watts (The Impossible, Eastern Promises) in “a brave and vulnerable performance” and Robin Wright (Moneyball, “House of Cards”) delivering “a career-high acting master class” (Damon Wise, The Guardian), the film marks the English-language directorial debut of Anne Fontaine (Coco Before Chanel). Written for the screen by Academy Award®-winner Christopher Hampton
(Best Adapted Screenplay, Dangerous Liaisons, 1988), ADORE is based on a novel by Nobel Prize for Literature winner Doris Lessing.
SYNOPSIS: Set in an Australian seaside town of otherworldly beauty, ADORE follows two women’s plunge into uncharted waters as they explore the intricacies of love, family, morality and passion. Watts and Wright deliver riveting performances as two life-long friends who become romantically involved with each other’s sons. The film also stars Xavier Samuel (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, The Loved Ones) and James Frecheville (Animal Kingdom).

presented in widescreen in a 2.39:1 aspect ration preserving its
theatrical format. The picture is just flawless. Not only the
picture looks great in this release, also the sound it is good,
a 5.1 Dolby Digital in English that provides a good complement
to the picture. It also includes English
