The new trailer for Lisa Dahl: Blessed By Grace has been released, offering a moving look at the life and journey of acclaimed Sedona chef, author, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Lisa Dahl.
The documentary will debut on November 12, 2026, across Tubi, Roku, Documentary+, Google Play, and YouTube Movies & TV following screenings at the Sedona International Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, Black Rock City Film Festival, and Indy Shorts International Film Festival.
Lisa Dahl: Blessed By Grace chronicles Dahl’s remarkable transformation from personal tragedy to professional success. In 1994, Dahl’s son Justin Dahl was tragically killed while attempting to help during a robbery, a devastating loss that forever changed her life. The documentary explores how that heartbreak ultimately inspired her move to Sedona, Arizona, where she began rebuilding her life through food, hospitality, and community.
Over the following decades, Dahl became one of the most influential figures in Arizona’s culinary scene, establishing a restaurant group that now includes six restaurants across five concepts. Her flagship restaurant, Dahl & Di Luca Ristorante Italiano, opened in 1995 and has earned national acclaim, while Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill has become one of Sedona’s most celebrated dining destinations.
Beyond her success as a restaurateur, Dahl has appeared on Food Network’s Beat Bobby Flay, cooked multiple sold-out dinners at New York’s James Beard House, authored two cookbooks, and received honors including the Arizona Restaurant Association’s Food Pioneer Award and Top Chef Arizona recognition.
The documentary also highlights Dahl’s philanthropic efforts, including the creation of the Lisa Dahl Foundation, which supports initiatives focused on food insecurity and community outreach.
Through themes of grief, resilience, healing, and hope, Lisa Dahl: Blessed By Grace presents an intimate portrait of a woman who transformed unimaginable loss into a lasting legacy.
