International action superstar Jason Statham (The Expendables, Transporter series) ramps up the action in CBS Films’ The Mechanic, debuting on Blu-ray™ and DVD May 17 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The film also stars Ben Foster (3:10 to Yuma, X-Men: The Last Stand), and Donald Sutherland (The Italian Job). The Mechanic follows an elite hit man (Statham) as he teaches his trade to an apprentice (Foster) who has a connection to one of his previous victims. The DVD and Blu-ray bonus materials include deleted scenes and the behind-the-scenes featurette “Tools of the Trade: Inside the Action,” an inside look at the exciting action, stunts and weapons from the film.
