But when they each sign up separately for  a fabulous family vacation with their kids, they are all stuck sharing a suite at a luxurious African safari resort for  a week.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cBlended\u201d also stars Joel McHale (NBC\u2019s \u201cCommunity\u201d) as Lauren\u2019s ex-husband, Mark, and Wendi McLendon-Covey (\u201cBridesmaids\u201d) as her best friend, Jen; Kevin Nealon (\u201cWeeds\u201d) and Jessica Lowe (funnyordie\u2019s \u201cRobotDown\u201d) as an overly romantic couple also vacationing at the resort; Terry Crews (\u201cThe Expendables 2\u201d) as the resort\u2019s singing host; and Dan Patrick  (ESPN SportsCenter) as Dick.  <\/p>\n<p>Playing the kids are: Bella Thorne of Disney Channel\u2019s \u201cShake it Up,\u201d Emma Fuhrmann and Alyvia Alyn Lynd as Jim\u2019s daughters; and Kyle Red Silverstein and Braxton Beckham as Lauren\u2019s sons.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cBlended\u201d is directed by Frank Coraci, who previously collaborated with Sandler and Barrymore on \u201cThe Wedding Singer\u201d and also directed Sandler in the hit comedies \u201cThe Waterboy\u201d and \u201cClick.\u201d  The screenplay is by Ivan Menchell &#038; Clare Sera.   The film is produced by Mike Karz, Adam Sandler and Jack Giarraputo, with Barry Bernardi, Josie Rosen, Tim Herlihy, Allen Covert and Steven Koren serving as executive producers.<\/p>\n<p>Collaborating with Coraci behind the scenes are director of photography Julio Macat (\u201cPitch Perfect\u201d), production designer Perry Andelin Blake (\u201cHere Comes the Boom\u201d), editor Tom Costain (\u201cGrown Ups\u201d) and costume designer Christine Wada (\u201cBridesmaids\u201d). <\/p>\n<p>\u201cBlended\u201d was filmed predominantly on location in South Africa. <\/p>\n<p>                  Slated for release on May 23, 2014, \u201cBlended\u201d is a Warner Bros. Pictures presentation of a Gulfstream Pictures\/Happy Madison Production and will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros.
