With little public understanding of the condition at the time, John faces isolation, misunderstanding, and the struggle to build a \u201cnormal\u201d life. His journey takes a turn when a family friend helps him find work and independence, ultimately leading to a BBC documentary that brought national awareness to Tourette Syndrome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the next three decades, John became a leading voice for the Tourette\u2019s community in Scotland, creating support groups and advocating for children and adults living with the condition.
