Relativity Media has closed deals with Tony Award\u00ae-winning actor Nathan Lane and British breakout actor Robert Emms in its upcoming yet-to-be titled Snow White feature directed by Tarsem Singh (Immortals, The Cell). <\/p>\n
Lane and Emms join Oscar\u00ae-winner Julia Roberts, Lily Collins (The Blind Side), and Armie Hammer (The Social Network) in the yet-to-be-titled Snow White, in which visionary director Tarsem Singh (Immortals) creates a spectacular reimagining of the classic fairy tale. An evil queen and an exiled princess struggle for control of their kingdom in a spirited adventure comedy, filled with jealousy, romance and betrayal, that will capture the imagination of audiences the world over. Pre-production has begun, and principal photography will start in June. The theatrical release date is set for June 29, 2012.<\/p>\n
Lane, set to play Brighton, the Queen\u2019s servant, can currently be seen in his recurring role on ABC\u2019s Modern Family and has starred in both the screen and stage versions of The Producers and comedies such as Love\u2019s Labour\u2019s Lost, The Birdcage and The Lion King. Emms, who will play Renbock, Prince Alcott\u2019s valet, will be seen in Roland Emmerich\u2019s Anonymous, set to release September 30, 2011 and Steven Spielberg\u2019s War Horse, out December 28, 2011. <\/p>\n
