OVERVIEW: Millennium Entertainment is proud to announce the home entertainment release of KHUMBA, the new animated feature with a star-studded cast. The film stars Jake T. Austin (“Wizards of Waverly Place”), Academy Award® Nominee Liam Neeson, (Taken), Golden Globe® Winner Steve Buscemi (“Boardwalk Empire”), AnnaSophia Robb (“The Carrie Diaries”) and many more. KHUMBA was directed by Anthony Silverston and co-written by Anthony Silverston, Raffaella Delle Donne and Jonathan Roberts (The Lion King, Monsters Inc., The Hunchback of Notre Dame).
KHUMBA will be released for a one week theatrical qualifying run on December 6, 2013 before heading exclusively to Walmart stores on DVD and DVD + Blu-ray™ Combo Pack on January 14, 2014. The animated film will be available on DVD, DVD + Blu-ray™ Combo Pack and VOD everywhere on February 11, 2014.
SYNOPSIS: Life is not all black and white for Khumba. A young zebra, born with only half his stripes, is rejected by his superstitious herd and blamed for a sudden drought affecting the land. Teaming up with a sassy wildebeest and a flamboyant ostrich, Khumba sets out on a daring mission across the Karoo desert to find the legendary waterhole where the first zebras got their stripes. Along the way he meets a host of colorful characters, but before he can reunite with his herd, Khumba will have to come face to face with a menacing leopard to take part in an epic battle…Khumba’s got to earn his stripes!

presented in widescreen in a 2.40:1 aspect ration preserving its
theatrical format. The picture is just flawless. Not only the
picture looks great in this release, also the sound it is good,
a 5.1 Dolby Digital in English that provides a good complement
to the picture. It also includes English
and Spanish subtitles.
