Written and directed by Keith Parmer (Mob Rules), SWELTER stars Lennie James (Snatch), Catalina Sandino Moreno (Maria Full of Grace), Grant Bowler (Killer Elite), Josh Henderson (TV’s “Dallas”), Alfred Molina (Spider-Man 2) and action icon Jean Claude Van Damme (Universal Soldier franchise, The Expendables 2). Ten years ago, a bank-robbing team stole $100 million from a Vegas casino. Not all of them got away. Now, Bishop (James) is a small-town sheriff, making an honest living ... with no memory of his criminal past. But when his old crew rolls into town looking for the loot, the perfect getaway threatens to turn into a nightmare of greed, revenge, and retribution.

SYNOPSIS: SWELTER is the story of the most notorious robbery in Las Vegas history. Five men, nicknamed the Rat Pack, hit the Luxor Casino for over one hundred million dollars. Four of the men are soon captured, while one barely escapes. Ten years later, after blasting their way out of a maximum-security prison, the four jailed members of the Rat Pack are hot on the trail of their former accomplice and the remaining ten million in stolen cash. The trail leads them to a dying desert town less than a hundred miles from the scene of the crime where they find their former partner is not the man he once was...he's become a law-abiding sheriff without any memory of his past. The sheriff must now remember his violent history in order to protect all that he holds dear.

BLU-RAY: The film is presented in widescreen in a 1.78:1 aspect ration preserving its theatrical format. The picture is just flawless. Not only the picture looks great in this release, also the sound it is good, a 5.1 Dolby Digital in English that provides a good complement to the picture. It also includes  English  subtitles.
