OVERVIEW: Anchor Bay Entertainment is proud to announce the Blu-ray™ and DVD release of Starz Digital’s MOMENTUM, the gripping action-thriller starring Olga Kurylenko (TV’s “Magic City,” Quantum of Solace, Oblivion) and James Purefoy (TV’s “The Following”, TV’s “Rome”) that debuted in the top ten on iTunes. MOMENTUM, directed by Stephen Campanelli (camera operator on American Sniper and Jersey Boys) and written by Adam Marcus and Debra Sullivan (co-writers of Texas Chainsaw 3D and Conspiracy) will be available for audiences on Blu-ray™ and DVD on December 1, 2015.
Filled with “wall-to-wall action” (Sean Kelly, Sean Kelly on Films), MOMENTUM was released theatrically and on demand by Starz Digital on October 16, 2015, has a running time of 96 minutes and is not rated. The DVD and Blu-ray™ edition of the film includes a behind-the-scenes special feature.
SYNOPSYS:
When Alex (Olga Kurylenko), an infiltration expert with a secret past, accidentally reveals her identity during what should have been a routine heist, she quickly finds herself mixed up in a government conspiracy and entangled in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with a master assassin (James Purefoy) and his team of killers. Armed with her own set of lethal skills, Alex looks to exact revenge for her murdered friends while uncovering the truth.
BLU-RAY:
The film is
presented in widescreen in a 2.40:1 aspect ration preserving its
theatrical format. The picture is just flawless. Not only the
picture looks great in this release, also the sound it is good,
a 5.1 Dolby Digital in English that provides a good complement
to the picture. It also includes English
and Spanish subtitles.
