SYNOPSIS: In SANTA BUDDIES: THE LEGEND OF SANTA PAWS, the lovable “Buddies,” B-Dawg,
Budderball, Buddha, Mudbud, and Rosebud embark on a thrilling journey to the magical world of Santa’s
Workshop. When Puppy Paws, the fun-loving son of Santa Paws, gets tired of the North Pole, he checks
out Santa’s “naughty” list and finds Budderball’s name right on top. Puppy Paws heads south to meet the
Buddies and find out how “ordinary” pups spend their days. But when the world begins to forget the true
meaning of the holidays and the magic of the season begins to literally melt away, it’s up to Puppy Paws and his newfound Buddies to save the day in another epic adventure. Their extraordinary exploits
highlight the importance of collaboration, courage and tradition in a joyous celebration of life and
friendship. Sure to be a family favorite for years to come, SANTA BUDDIES: THE LEGEND OF

REVIEW: After the success of
"Space Buddies", it was expected that a sequel was to follow. The main problem with this film is that it doesn't bring anything new to the table. In
"Space Buddies" the idea of having talking puppies going to
space, proof to be cute and fun for the entire family. In
"Santa Buddies" the main idea doesn't change at all, same cute talking puppies getting into trouble. However, the story in this sequel is
as expected as it can be. I found the film to be better than
"Space Buddies" with the potential of becoming
one of those B film of the holidays.
Overall this film can be categorized as a kids' movie and not a family movie.
BLU-RAY: The film is
presented in 1080P widescreen in a 1.78:1 aspect ration. The picture
is completed with a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio
(48kHz/24bit) and 5.1 Dolby Digital in Spanish and French.
It also includes subtitles in English, French and Spanish.
In terms of Special Features,
the Santa Buddies: The Legend of Santa Paws two disc Blu-ray
doesn't include anything to get excited. It only includes a sing
along to Christmas Carols with the Buddies and "Santa
Claus is Comin' to Town music video. It also includes the DVD
copy of the film.
