laugh-out-loud, documentary-style look at the professional and
personal lives of the employees of struggling paper supplier

Entertainment – the first of the hilarious series to be

SYNOPSIS: The latest
season of the ultimate workplace comedy finds the employees of
fictional paper company Dunder Mifflin enmeshed in surprise
office hook-ups, break ups, romantic triangles and new business
ventures. In a subversively funny look at corporate life,
self-important, insensitive regional manager Michael Scott
(Steve Carell) still thinks he ' s the best boss ever—despite
overwhelming evidence to the contrary! As Michael leaves the
security of Dunder Mifflin and strikes out on his own, Andy (Ed
Helms) and Dwight (Rainn Wilson) do battle for Angela’s (Angela
Kinsey) affections, and Jim (John Krasinski) and Pam (Jenna
Fischer) finally plan their long awaited nuptials.
BLU-RAY: The Office
Season Five is presented in a stunning 1080P widescreen with
a 1.78:1 preserving its television format. The transfer
looks very clean with flawless pictures, giving the series the
clarity that only high definition can provide. Universal Home Entertainment did a phenomenal job in this
transfer. Not only the picture looks excellent in this
release, also the sound it is good, a 5.1 Dolby DTS HD in
English that provides a nice complement to the picture. It also
subtitles in Spanish.
The Blu-ray and DVD
includes all 26 original episodes and is loaded with
special features. It includes over three hours of deleted
scenes, which I found to be 80% worth watching. It also
includes four webisodes, gag reel and episodes commentary by
cast and crew, as well as DB Live allowing to create audio
mix to share with friends.
Overall The Office Season Five
continues to be one of the best comedies in television, and
proof of that are the high Television ratings. Steve Carell
and the rest of the cast continued to deliver outstanding
performance in their peculiar hilarious way. This is one of
those comedies that without a doubt had the signature of a
Television classics, Since its first episodes, The Office
definitely a comedy that deserve been watched more than
ones, that's why it should be in everybody's blu-ray
collection.
