 The People's Review of Bounce

Clonus
score = 60
The plot has some promise but neither of the characters are very likeable.  Unfortunately, Affleck hasn't got the charm of Cruise, who pulled off a similar role in Jerry MaGuire.

I am a chick flick fan of the highest order!!  So,I enjoyed the movie simply because "Bounce" was a definite chick flick.  Paltrow and Affleck were excellent.  Unfortuneately, the plot dragged a bit at times, needing more romance and passion and less descriptive plot for my taste.  Therefore, on a scale of 1 to 100 with 100 being the ultimate chick flicks (Beaches, Titanic, Fried Green Tomatoes, Steel Magnolias) and 1 being Godzilla 2000, I would give "Bounce" a definite 80, but no more.
