Hi,I'm crystal from Pennsylvania..And I think that Centerstage definitely
shows how much dancing can bring out the best in a person when its your
passion!! I've danced for 13 years,so I know how Jodie felt when she
thought she would never make it as a dancer.I'd feel the same way if I
thought I'd never dance the way I wanted to..It just goes to show,that
when you want something bad enough,stop at nothing until to get to the
top!!! (and a sequel isn't a bad idea either)!!

I think this was the best movie ever, It shows the kind of work that
dancers really go through. and I dont know that much because I'm only on
dance team which is very demanding, but I am taking some ballet and It is
not easy. so I think that this moviewas a very good inperastion for all
dancers,ever sence I seen center stage it made me want to work even
harder. Besides sascha (charlie) was hot

Hello My name is elisa and i am a very big fan of Sascha's (charlie). The
movie had a good plot and an excellent conclusion! The reason I recomended
this film is that it not only is a Motivation to all dancers and people,
but that it's not a stupid Movie that was put out just for the money, even
though that is a BIG reason. Some of the people that danced in Center
Stage are really Dancers. For instance Sascha Radetsky is a real dancer at
the ABT and zoe is someone that has danced for a little while. This movie
is such a good movie for everyone that enjoy's watching movies that
actually has a point to it then this is the movie to watch! Thankyou for
giving me your attention.

Center Stage was awesome...I wouldn't even answer the phone while watching
it!! 3 min into the movie i was interested and couldn't get my eyes of it!
it is my all time favorite!! I have been a dancer since i was 2 years old
and i love how it shows the strong determination and love for dance! It
shows all the aspects that dancers have to go through and work up to. I
have always dreamed of being in a place like that to go and dance! I would
recommend it to anyone!! IT was the BEST!!!

I absolutely loved this movie. I think it managed to show ballet in
a true light. That it isn't always pretty, and that it is hard work.
It also managed to show that not everyone is bulimic or snobby.
Loved the love story and the dancing!!

I thought this movie was excellent. Maybe this is just because I am a
dancer, I know what they are talking about. Many people don't know what
they're talking about at points throughout the movie which may ruin the
effect of it. But still, I thought it was very good. Not to mention the
actor who played Charlie was hot.

The reason I believe this is a "Definitely worth seeing" is
because I am a dancer, I thought it was the best movie I had ever seen,
and I'm waiting for it to come out on video. Personally, I think
this would be hard to understand if your not a dancer, or dont know about
the art. This video was a great encouragement to me as a dancer, as
I plan to continue in my dance career. I can't put it in words how
wonderful and encouraging this movie was. Recently I have attended
"The Nutcracker" by the American Ballet, it was wonderful too,
now I understand what it's like to be dancing up on that stage!!!!!!!!!! I
would give this movie 3 thumbs up! If I had 3 thumbs!

I thought the movie was very good! I am a big time dancer and would love
to do something like that in my life but the movie was inspiring for me. I
did not like the character Cooper i thought Charlie was so cool, i wish i
had a best friend like him but the ending was pretty bad. personally, i
think it was dumb of Jody to go with Cooper, but that's me! But i did love
the movie!! See it!

I think this movie was great except the part with Jody and Charlie, te
director should have had more romance b/t them. Make them kiss more in the
end , and show he audience wut will happen with their relationship
in the future. I watched this movie about 6 months fer it was in the
movies, and i still love it

I Loved the movie!!!!! I have rented the movie 3 times and I love it
more every time I watch it. I hope to get it for Christmas. I
recommend the movie to everyone. As a dancer myself it made me feel
like if I stick to working hard some day I can be as good. I t

This movie told it like it is. Dancers don't only have to be stonge
physically but also emotionally. I'm a dancer - I loved it! My
friends loved it & they don't dance. Any guy out there who truly
likes art will like this movie or atleast leave this movie with more
respect for dancers. We work so hard & sometimes we just get pooped

mostly) and all the dancing in this movie was unbeileivably proffesional.

I thought the movie was awesome. At first I thought it would be lame, but
I was plesantly surprised. I loved the dancing! I am not a dancer, but I
appreciate them more for alll their hard work. The only thing I would
change is the scene's between Charlie and Jody. The trailer for the movie
had a bunch of scenes that show that Charlie is interested in Jody. In the
movie it is kind of hard to tell if he is really in to her or not. Plus at
the end of the trailer there is a way better kiss then the one they put in
the movie. This kiss was muched more romantic and dramatic. If you want to

I loved this movie. The story line was good and it showed how much
pressure there is to dance today. Some people think that dancing is an
easy thing to do and that anybody can do it. Well their wrong. It takes a
lot of time and effort.
The Drama in it was good because it showed what freshman in College do.
And how their lives work. Jody and Eva and Charlie and Eric were my
favrites in this movie they all were different and yet so much the same
and they taught eachother lessons to learn. I Give this Movie a 100

dancers face. I'm sure all of the dancers out there enjoyed it as much as

I fell in love with this movie less than 10 minutes into it! It left me
wanting to dance for hours after seeing it!. Sascha left me breathless
both as an actor, and as a dancer. Ethan I had heard about in an article
and couldn't wait until I saw the movie. I have loved ballett since I was
a child watching, I believe, Barishnakov dance amazing performances across
the stage. This was an excellent movie, and all the players stole a
piece of the stage. I recomend this movie so very highly one could not
imagine!

comments = With almost every genre of film around today, it is difficult
not to stumble into all the old cliches. Center Stage is no
exception, however, with that being said, this is one of, if not, the best
dancing film I have ever seen. To appreciate this film you have to
know what the characters are feeling, and the only way to do that is by
being a type of performer yourself. So, anyone who has ever
performed in front of anyone, in any capacity, you'll recognise the
feeling within this film. That wonderful feeling of anticipation,
dread, horror, excitement and wonder that comes with doing something you
love.

WHAT THE HELL KIND OF MOVIE IS THIS??? Any self respecting male wouldn't
be caught dead in the theatre of this nonsense. I only saw it to get my
girlfriend in the sac!! (PS. mission accomplished) The whole movie is
about some fruity guy trying to impress some girl by dancing ballet. I
found myself having more fun timing myself on how long I could hold my
breath then watching this garbage. I would rather sit through Battlefield
Earth 20 times having a root canal then seeing this flick one more time.
What a disgrace. I urge you to not see this movie unless you want to waste
your hard earned cash. The only reason I gave it a 10 was because I was
thankful that it lasted under 2 hours. ALL THESE OTHER PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA
WHAT THERE TALKING ABOUT. INSTEAD GO SEE SOMETHING WITH MEANING LIKE
GLADIATOR.

Aha! Finally the world is able to see what goes on behind the scenes
in the life of a dancer! This movie includes everything: audition
stress, pushy moms, blisters, eating disorders, egotistical directors,
romantic discourses...and why it is all worth it in the end! I was
reminded that I do not dance because I want to get into the American
Ballet Theatre, but because I love to dance! This movie inspires us
all to follow our dreams and not fall victim to those others try to lay
out for us. Everyone needs to see this movie - and then go buy
tickets to the ballet! And I want to give a round of applause to all
those dancers who were forced to stretch their talent to a new

What the movie lacks in acting skill it more than makes up for in dancing.
I was entranced through all the dancing sequences, and there were enough
of them to keep me entranced through most of the movie. Anyone who likes
to go to the ballet will love this movie.

This is a terrific movie. Very uplifting and inspirational. Much credit
should be given to the creaters,writers,choreographers, and especially the
actors for portraying themselves as they did. This movie's trailer caught
my attention and I ended up seeing it three times and can't wait till it
comes out on video. Cooper's ballet was exquiste and very modernized. A
must see movie for dreamer's everywhere. Best of luck to Amanda Schull and

I think this is the best movie ever made. It was some INCREDIBLE dancing
in it, it shows the really up in your face truth about what life for
dancers is like. It also shows a bunch of Sascha who is UNBELIEVABLEY
