REVIEW: Day Night Day Night
06/15/07

Day Night Day
Night is a movie which delicately touches faith and self
doubt in the shoes of a girl suicide bomber. An innocent
orphan girl is given a mission, to commit suicide alone or
with people around her at New York, Times Square. It is
through her preparation and the people who support this
mission that we learn about her conviction to execute this
task. However, what makes this movie so intriguing is that
there is no background information on this girl or any event
that could have led her to this senseless destiny. Luisa
Williams makes her debut in this psychological, and
insightful drama. Her performance is extraordinary even when
her character doesn't speak much, but through her
expressions and actions we can easily learn the level of
anxiety, self doubt, and frustration that this girl is
experiencing. Eventhough the film uses a microscopic lens to
focus on every detail, the viewer is engaged in a quest for
reasons that opens the mind to all possible reasons why?
This movie is described as a low budget film yet producer
and main character have a promising career ahead of them
which I have no doubt will be priceless for the film
industry.
