DVD REVIEW: SHOOTER SEASON ONE

From executive producers Mark Wahlberg, Stephen Levinson and John Hlavin, Shooter is based on the best-selling Bob Lee Swagger novel by Stephen Hunter, Point of Impact. Ryan Phillippe stars as Bob Lee Swagger, a highly-decorated veteran coaxed back into action after learning of a plot to kill the president. When Swagger's former commanding officer, Isaac Johnson (Omar Epps), solicits Swagger's expertise for the clandestine operation, Swagger discovers that he has been framed and must do everything in his power to protect his family and clear his name.

DVD: The film is presented in widescreen in a 1.78:1 aspect ration preserving its theatrical format. The picture is just flawless. Not only the picture looks great in this release, also the sound it is good, a  Dolby Digital in English that provides a good complement to the picture. It also includes  English  subtitles.
