REVIEW: BRATZ KIDZ FAIRY TALES

Fans of the
popular Bratz line of toys and DVDs will welcome an all-new
addition to the popular franchise this February as Lionsgate
and MGA Entertainment present the Bratz Spring DVD event -
Bratz Kidz Fairy Tales, the full-length CGI-animated
feature. Cloe, Sasha, Yasmin, and Jade get zapped into Fairy
Tale Land, becoming Rapunzel, Snow White, Red Riding Hood,
and Cinderella. There they must ensure that each story ends
Happily Ever After! Available on DVD February 26, Bratz Kidz
Fairy Tales stars the popular girls with a passion for
fashion during their younger years, appealing to girls of
all ages, while still keeping the same fun and energetic
tone which the brand’s core fans love. Since being
introduced to the market in 2001, Bratz™ has quickly become
one of the world’s foremost toy lines and girls’ lifestyle
brands.
With millions of dolls sold worldwide, over 6 million home
entertainment products sold, the Bratz franchise has quickly
become a pop culture phenomenon. The incredibly popular
Bratz Kidz™ line has inspired creativity and friendship in
younger Bratz fans since its inception, making it an instant
mainstay in the successful franchise.
The Bratz Kidz™ made a promise to their school principal to
put on a Fairy Tale Showcase at their school. The Bratz,
Cloe, Jade, Sasha and Yasmin will play Rapunzel, Snow White,
Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella, but the reality is
that their hearts are not in it. The Bratz girls feel that
the fairy tale heroines are not strong-willed characters and
that the Bratz Kidz are better equipped to handle the
misadventures in the land of make believe. That is, until a
little frog appears, and zaps them into Fairy Tale Land.
There, the Bratz Kidz must prove that they can handle things
better than the original characters, but quickly realize
it’s not so easy to battle characters such as the big bad
wolf and evil stepmothers! By working together as friends,
they are able to get through each story and overcome every
obstacle as a team! The trip to Fairy Land gives them a
new-found appreciation for the classic characters they
portray. The Kidz soon agree that it isn’t right to judge
others until you have walked a mile in their glass slippers!
