REVIEW: Christmas Time In South Park

11/11/07

Hidey Ho! It’s that time of
year again. Yes, time for some raunchy Christmas comedy and
who better to bring it to you than those crude and rude kids
from South Park. Gather the family along the fire place and
sing along to such holiday classics as "Mr. Hankey, the
Christmas Poo" and "Christmas Time in Hell." Christmas Time
in South Park features 7 classic Christmas themed episodes
that will have you rolling in the floor laughing.
Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo (December 17, 1997) -
The first episode where Kenny doesn’t die features the kids
of South Park attempting to stage a non- offensive,
non-denominational holiday play. This is a pretty funny
episode specially the parts where Kenny is expected to die.
Merry Christmas Charlie Manson (December 09, 1998) -
Cartman's Uncle Howard and Charlie Manson break out of
prison. Charlie learns the truth meaning of Christmas and
his sanity is restored. Not as funny as a Christmas Poo, but
tolerable overall.
Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics (December 01 1999) -
The Christmas Poo, Mr Hankey, host a holiday song performed
by the South Park gang. Pretty fun episode; with pretty
catchy songs.
A Very Crappy Christmas (December 20, 2000) - The
best episode on the DVD has Mr. Hankey busy with his drunk
of a wife and their three kids. Mr. Hankey’s wife is
hilarious and his kids are even funnier.
Red Sleigh Down (December 11, 2002) - Cartman hasn’t
been too nice this year and his accountant tells him he need
to do something drastically nice to get off the naughty
list. Cartman decides to bring Christmas to Iraq.
It's Christmas in Canada (December 17, 2003) - Ike’s
Canadian birth parents take him back to Canada. The town of
South Park gives up their Christmas gifts to raise money to
bring Ike back home. The kids of South Park decide to bring
Ike back themselves before he ruins Christmas for everybody.
This episode is not up to par with the others and overall
kind of boring.
Woodland Critter Christmas (December 15, 2004) - The
Woodland Critter ask Stan to help build a manger, however
what Stan doesn’t know is that they serve a different god.
Pretty fun episode that will have you laughing at how
ridicules things can get in South Park.
While some may consider this DVD sacrilege, there is no
better way of getting into the Christmas spirit than a
little laughter. This DVD delivers with episode of episode
that will have you cracking up. So put up the Christmas tree
and the cookies by the toilet and keep eating that oat bran
and you know who might just pay you a visit.
