REVIEW:
Following the footsteps of his
father, Michael Landon ("Little House on the Praire"),
Michael Landon, Jr as the executive producer to "Love's
Unending Legacy" brings us a story based on the best selling
author Janette Oke's Love Comes Softly This is a
story that takes place in a small western town in a
Christian family home living the lifestyle of the time
surrounded by the loss of loved ones. While this story is
mainly on Missie LaHaye (Erin Cottrell) and how she is
trying to cope with the loss of her husband and young baby's
death under different circumstances, the story of Belinda an
orphan and feisty fourteen year old girl who is adopted by
Missie becomes as important to the entire plot of the film.
Both learn to trust and love each other after a rough
journey where secrets have to be revealed and the past needs
to give way to hope. With other children involved in the
story, animals, grandparents and prayer at the table, this
story will remind you of "Little House in the Prairie" and
how family entertainment used to be and can be.
