Get swept away in a
timeless tale when Nights in Rodanthe arrives on Blu-ray and
DVD February 10 from Warner Home Video. This big-screen
adaption of the acclaimed Nicholas Sparks novel shows that
when it comes to love, it’s never too late for a second
chance.
The stars of Unfaithful
rekindle their screen chemistry in this rich tale of hearts
awakenings based on a bestseller by Nicholas Sparks (The
Notebook, Message in a Bottle). Richard Gere is Paul, a
surgeon who long ago unwittingly traded career for family.
Diane Lane is Adrienne, a devoted mother trying to move on
after her husbands infidelity and struggling with his desire
to return to their marriage. At a remote inn on the Outer
Banks, Paul and Adrienne expect to do some serious
soul-searching. But an approaching storm forces each to turn
to the other for strength, setting the stage for a
life-resonating romance.
The DVD is a double sided
disc including the widescreen and full screen versions of
the film. The picture is complemented with a 5.1 Dolby
Digital audio in English Spanish and French. The surprise in
this DVD version is the absents of extras. If you want to
get and inside look at the making of the film you should go
for the Blu-ray version, which includes three behind the
scenes features, as well as alternate and deleted scenes. It
also includes a digital copy.
