gets a second chance at life when amnesia wipes her memory
clean in Samantha Who?: The Complete Second and Final
Season, coming to DVD from Walt Disney Studios Home
Entertainment. This four-disc set, available on August 25,
2009, contains every episode from Samantha Who’s final

SYNOPSIS: Samantha
Newly (Christina Applegate) awakens from an eight-day coma
with no memory of her previous life. Unnerved by the
discovery that she was a shallow, vain, nonstop partier, Sam
vows to reinvent a better self. In Season Two of Samantha
Who?, reformed party girl Sam acquires a new beau (James
Tupper of “Men in Trees”) and a new job (working with her
formerly estranged mom, played by Jean Smart). As she
continues to find out just what a bad girl she’s been, Sam
is working hard to put together a life with a purpose. What
that purpose is, she’s still trying to figure out.
SEASON REVIEW:
The 2008/2009 Fall Season had to be one of the worst seasons
for the ABC Television Network in recent years. Four of the
five second year shows got cancel do to low ratings. "Pushing Daisies", "Eli Stone ", "Dirty Sexy Money" and finally "Samantha
Who?" the highest rated new sitcom for the network in
the 2007/2008 TV
season.
The show's outstanding writing
continued during this second season providing even more entertainment, laughs and intrigue in every
single episode. From the first two episodes viewers will
continue to laugh with misadventure of this bad girl going good, as she is
trying to get her memory back. The magical performance by Christina Applegate
continued this season. I wont be surprise if she gets
another Emmy-Nomination for her performance in this show. What I really
like about this second season was that the writers keep the
same format as season one. The audience get to discover who
Samantha is, as she is discovering herself. From who her
relationship with her parents to her relationship with his
ex through funny and outrages situations that
will make you want to see more and more of this original show.
Like it happens with any good television
show and specially a sitcom is having the same cast for the
second year. This gave
Samantha Who? all that it was needed to return stronger
for a second season. Unfortunately for me and the rest of
the fans the season was ended. One thing is for sure, at
least the show had a decent finally and the audience was not
cheated like is always the case with any unsuccessful
Television show.
