MAIDEN HEIST

10/27/09

OVERVIEW: Four of Hollywood’s most beloved and critically lauded stars team up to steal laughs in the caper comedy THE MAIDEN HEIST, on DVD October 27, 2009, from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. A deliciously smart heist film blending the traditions of Ocean’s 11 and Wild Hogs, THE MAIDEN HEIST stars Academy Award® Winners Morgan Freeman (Best Supporting Actor, Million Dollar Baby, 2004), Christopher Walken (Best Supporting Actor, The Deer Hunter, 1978), and Academy Award® Nominee William H. Macy (Best Supporting Actor, Fargo, 1996) as security guards at an art museum who plan to steal three of their favorite pieces from the museum. Co-starring Academy Award® Winner Marcia Gay Harden (Best Supporting Actress, Pollock, 2000) in a hilarious turn as Walken’s controlling wife, THE MAIDEN HEIST is a clever, well acted romp that proves you’re never too old to have some new fun.
