SYNOPSIS: The sixth
grade students of a small town begin to realize that their
new substitute teacher is an alien. When the parents don’t
believe them, they are forced to take matters into their own
hands. Directed by Ole Bornedal (Nightwatch), The
Substitute, called “A clever version of The Faculty” (Metromix),
premiered at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and was the
winner of the Audience Award at the Sprockets Film Festival.
