TOOTH AND NAIL
(AFTER DARK
HORROR FEST)

03/14/08

SYNOPSIS: A small
group of survivors in a post-apocalyptic world take refuge
in an empty hospital with plans of re-building society.
They rescue a young girl who is the victim of a brutal
attack, but soon discover that they were followed by a
savage band of cannibals known as Rovers. The Rovers begin
to kill them one by one, and the trapped survivors must find
a way to outwit their stalkers.
REVIEW: After taking
a close look at the titles and synopsis for the 2007 After
Dark HorrorFest films, one of the tittles that gets immediate
attention is "Tooth and Nail". An apocalyptic
film with a promising beginning that vanished rapidly and
becomes a comedy more than a horror film.
Mark Young's idea for the
film was as good and interesting as it can be for an
apocalyptic film. What would the world do without oil?
Unfortunately that's the only fear that I felt watching this
film. The rest of the film is just your typical scary movie
. A group of people being killed by a group of savages, with
a more than expected ending. The films is more gory than
scary. If gory scenes scare you this is the film for you.
