mighty mutant, is

conclusion to the 4-part epic "Beyond Good And Evil" in this
sensational 14-episode set.
REVIEW: If I said that in Volume Three was more centered towards describing each main character’s past, this one is just the opposite. In Volume four The X-Men series goes global, in this 14 episode collection the audience is taken for a trip from one corner of the X-Men Universe to another. I have to say that in this Volume I saw thing I never seen or remember seen from this franchise. And if I said that the Phoenix Sagas were the best stories I ever seen, I surely did not remember the Beyond Good and Evil Saga. I think there has not been a more elaborate X-Men animated story than this one. It was a lot of fun to re watch the complete story back to back and enjoy it as much as when I first saw it on TV. The other episodes in the volume are also great it has a compilation of episodes featuring the most dangerous villains in X-Men Mythology.
Unlike previous volumes, fourth begins delivering great material from the very first episodes. Disk one opens with an amusing and surprising story, in it although is as not as complex as many others, it has important details about the main characters, specially what happens to Wolverine, in this episode we get to see this character to behave like in an unconceivable way, that was something I never, ever seen before from this character, and it was also kind of comical. After that there is another great story featuring the master of magnetism, as he is close to achieve his goals of mutant independency. Then the action reaches new levels with Beyond Good and Evil: A four episode series featuring characters from past, present and future. After that Disk 2 gives you 6 independent episodes full of excitement specially The Lotus and the Steel and Family Ties.
Another important aspect about this volume is that it definitely can be seen without any knowledge of the previous volumes. Also that it closes all the sagas, and it gives a sense of closure at the end. However I recommend to see the previous ones just to have a background with some characters. I know that I always say that this kind of disks are a most have, but if there is one Volume that is a must have this is it.

SPECIAL FEATURES: As The previous volume, this DVD collection do not have any special features but some sneak peeks of upcoming Disney movies. However I have to say that this do not change my perspective on the DVD , since its value is more in the series than the features. The DVD looks however is great the cover is very colorful and persuasive and the menu is easy to navigate. One complain is that it has like eight minutes previews before it gets to the main menu.
