make, in the untold story of the historic encounter that
changed both: Frost/Nixon. Reprising their roles from
Morgan’s stageplay are Frank Langella, who won a Tony for
his portrayal of Nixon, and Michael Sheen, who fully

REVIEW: Frost/Nixon
is Ron Howard's version of the acclaimed play of the same
name by Peter Morgan. Play that delighted audiences in New
York and London and finally people around the world
will have the opportunity to enjoy. Produced by Brian Grazer
of Imagine Entertainment, Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner of
Working Title Films for Universal Pictures. If you think
this is just another film based on Nixon's Watergate
scandal, you are in for a surprise. Frost/Nixon is that
match of heavy weights that are determine to earn their
tittles with power and determination. It is more than
the historical interview.
It is the desire, the
audacity and the determination of an underestimated David
Frost to engrave his name in history. Characteristics that
are marvelously acted by Michael Sheen in the role of Frost.
On the other side is the intelligent, opportunistic and
selfish Richard Nixon, who was also determined to use the
media in his favor. Nixon who is portrait by Sir Frank
Langella, who just dictated an acting clinic with this film
and has set himself for a well deserved Oscar nomination. To
supervise this match not other than Ron Howard who just
know by nature how to add rush and adrenaline to a drama
like no other. All orchestrated by the exceptional screenplay of
Peter Morgan that far exceeded his original play. The
end of this clash of the titans is one of the best pictures
of the year.
