In Season Two, Israel stands on the brink of collapse as King Saul’s rule fractures. David’s victories and growing renown elevate him from humble shepherd to celebrated warrior, earning the devotion of the people—and the dangerous envy of Saul. As the Iron Age dawns, new weapons and tactics reshape every battle, shifting the balance of power among rival tribes and foreign enemies.
The Philistines press their advantage, families fracture under political pressure, and Israel edges toward civil war. In this escalating struggle, faith, leadership, and destiny collide as David’s path begins to define the future of the kingdom.
