Kristen Bell, star of STX Entertainment’s highly anticipated upcoming comedy, Bad Moms, recently launched a CrowdRise Experience to support Alliance of Moms. Fans can visit her CrowdRise campaign at crowdrise.com/badmomspremiere to donate for an opportunity to win a trip to Los Angeles to mingle with Bell at the premiere of Bad Moms on July 26th.
In this new comedy from the writers of The Hangover, Amy (Mila Kunis) has a seemingly perfect life – a great marriage, over-achieving kids, beautiful home and a career. However, she’s over-worked, over-committed and exhausted to the point that she’s about to snap.
Fed up, she joins forces with two other over-stressed moms – Kiki (Kristen Bell) and Carla (Kathryn Hahn) – on a quest to liberate themselves from conventional responsibilities – going on a wild, un-mom-like binge of long overdue freedom, fun and self-indulgence – putting them on a collision course with PTA Queen Bee Gwendolyn (Christina Applegate) and her clique of devoted perfect moms, Stacy (Jada Pinkett Smith) and Vicky (Annie Mumolo). The film is written and directed by Jon Lucas & Scott Moore and produced by Suzanne Todd and Bill Block.
Donations from the CrowdRise fundraiser will benefit Alliance of Moms, an auxiliary of the Alliance for Children’s Rights, whose mission is to break the intergenerational cycle of babies born to teens in foster care. Alliance of Moms creates educational programs to empower young moms and dads to become informed parents who can give their babies a healthier childhood than their own.
Bell said, “I am thrilled to bring someone to the Bad Moms premiere as my date, to benefit Alliance of Moms” and added that this promotion would be about “Bad Moms helping good moms!”
The fundraiser launched on CrowdRise on Tuesday, July 5th at 2:00am ET and runs through July 19th at 11:59:59am ET. Every $10 donated is one entry to win round trip airfare for 2 to Los Angeles, one night in a Los Angeles hotel, car service ground transportation to/from the airport in LA and to/from the premiere, an evening as Kristen Bell’s guest at the premiere of Bad Moms on July 26th, and attendance to the exclusive after-party.
