"As a former Navy Deep Sea Diver, there were many holes in this
script. Several technical errors stood out, as in all military films
created by civilian producers. For example, the Navy doesn't salute
indoors OR uncovered, except at courts martial or captain's mast. Chiefs
are not saluted by enlisted personnel except in boot camp. I blame the
former Navy Divers who were the technical directors on this movie for
that. The plot was not that strong, however I must give an extremely
strong thumbs up to DeNiro and Gooding for their roles in this flick.
Possible Oscar nominations for the pair." "
