The New Orleans Film Society proudly presents its 27th Annual New Orleans Film Festival from October 12 to 20. The Oscar®-qualifying festival has firmly established itself on the regional film festival circuit as one of the most reputable in the country. Along with its top-notch programming, panels and conversations, one-on-one mentoring sessions, and a multitude of parties and receptions, NOFF serves up a dose of Southern hospitality that’s hard to beat.
In addition to the competition films, the festival also screens award-winning studio releases ahead of their theatrical run. Recent festivals have welcomed guests like Oscar®-winner Lupita Nyong’o, Oscar®-nominees Patricia Clarkson, Alfre Woodard and Steve McQueen, and Golden Globe nominees Faith Ford and Sarah Paulson.
Passes start at $200 for NOFS members and $270 for non-members and are on sale now at www.neworleansfilmsociety.org. Individual tickets go on sale October 3 for the general public. Screenings take place at venues all across the city, including the new Ace Hotel New Orleans, the Theatres at Canal Place, the Contemporary Arts Center and others.
