I'm a Christian but I did not think much of the movie. I don't agree with the Bible Code
but thought I could look past it. There was not enough character developement as
well as the fact it had more to do with millenial teachings than the Bible code itself.
I agree with another reviewer who thought TBN should make movies such as this and
just run them on cable. As much as I wished this were a good or better movie that it was I
can't recommend it.

A good movie - biblically accurate to a degree, but a lot of things were "out of
sequence", so to speak. As for the special effects? - decent. The acting was also
decent, but not excellent. The plotting was okay, but really could have been a lot better
- the dream sequence in the middle was really annoying, almost as if they needed to make a
a segue and weren't sure how. Sad. Over all, I was impressed.

I believe all those who said The Omega Code wasn't worth seeing or that it was badly
produced have their GOD given right to say that. BUT I feel that they have all missed the
point of this movie. The purpose of this movie was to show the world that what the bible
says is true. TBN may not have put this movie together in perfect sequence and may have
left out things that would have given it a clearer view of what may happen in the future.
After all, They are humans just like you and I. What it all boils down to is that
WE all need to take a step back and LOOK OUT OUR LIVES and see what GOD has in store for
us. I loved this movie and think that everyone should see it atleast once. Thank you
Paul and Jan, Matt and your wife too. Thank you TBN Partners and to all the production
crew and THANK YOU GOD for setting forth YOUR Hand into a world that is lost, confused and
full of hate. TBN keep making movies like this. HOLLYWOOD take Notice. GOD says what ever
you speak into existence shall be. I believe the violence, sex, hate and murder in movies
today says it all. TBN SPEAKS GOD'S WORD INTO EXISTENCE. If you don't know GOD personally,
take my advise and talk to him today. You don't have to go to a church to find him, you
don't have to have anyone there. HE will be there with you. JUST ask HIM into your life. I
promise you. YOU will never be the same again.

production. For the secular world I'm sure this movie will be considered a fluke given the
great response it has had but, we know this is just part of GOD's plan to spread HIS WORD

It is amazing how so many people expect a first time effort to be the end all and be all
to our lives. I do believe that Microsoft is not working on it's version for Windows2000
and Mircosoft Office has upgraded ever year since they have started. Each year promising
to provide new features that will meet our needs. Sometimes all we need to do is make
recommendations for improvements instead of critizing and condemning the whole product.
Believe or not, if you are satisfied with any of the upgraded electronice and
technological products on the market today, as money permits you will soon be satisfied
with fictional movies from a Christian perspective. I encourage TBN to keep pushing
towards the mark. As money comes available, you will be able to create a more definitive
story line. TWO THUMBS UP FOR ALL YOUR HEARTFELT EFFORTS!

perspective of the movie makes it intriguing and mysteriously different from the usual
Hollywood action movie . I hope to see more movies of this kind in the future.

the guy that played "Igor" wasn't that bad. I think it is great to see the
issues raised in a major film. I can only hope people find the subject matter
interesting and open a Bible to see for themselves. And....for most, even the
christians, it will show them the correct spelling of the book....REVELATION!

THOUGHT THE THE MOVIE DID WELL WITH THE CHAINING OF THE EVENTS OF ESCATOLOGY.
I WAS ABLE TO UNDERSTAND IT PRETTY WELL, AND I'M NOT A DIE HARD STUDENT OF DAN/REV BUT I
HAVE SOME KNOWLEDGE IN ESCATOLOGY. A NON-BELIEVER WOULD NOT UNDERSTAND THE MOVIE AT
ALL WITHOUT A BACKGROUND IN SCRIPURE OR A PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE TO THE 1970'S "THIEF IN
THE NIGHT" SERIES. IT MAY CAUSE A NON-BELIEVER (IF IT IS EVANGELISTIC IN
MISSION) TO ASK A CHRISTIAN MORE ABOUT THE END TIMES EVENTS, OR IT MAY JUST LEAVE THEM
CONFUSED ABOUT THE MOVIE AS WELL. IT WAS WELL DONE OVERALL, BECAUSE NO ONE KNOWS
EXACTLY HOW THE EVENTS WILL TAKE PLACE. FOR CHRISTIANS IT SHOULD BE A WAKE UP, TO LIVE FOR

VERY dissapointing! Hard to follow as it makes giant leaps without filling in the
gaps. The characters were one dimensional... no time was taken to develope them.
More than once I found myself thinking "give me a break!" Like when Lane
is on the run with the whole world looking for him and he goes home!! Give me a break!!
I could go on and on like the scene where he seeks help from his friend and Lane
"accidentally" picks up the phone and hears their coming to get him while his
friend is in the bathroom and then much to the surprise and horror of his friend
they want to kill him!! Give me a break!! You get the picture. Not to mention it
LOOSELY follows scripture. IF YOU ARE A THINKING PERSON AT ALL DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS
FILM!!!

As a growing Christian, the movie, I felt was well intended. However, I would not take one
of my lost friends as they would not understand and not appreciate the story-line. I
think the big screen should open to more films like Jesus of Navareth. I finished
reading the Revelation just before going to see this movie, and to me, God writes his code

Book of Revelation. More movies should be made like this one. I have seen this

As a seminary student and student of the Bible I am extremely impressed with a movie that
can based on Truth with still a fictional plot...my applause to TBN. Although some
of the movie can't be found in the Bible...you certainly won't find contradictions...thats
called artistic license for all you boneheads who obviously use your Bible as a coaster.
I would suggest reading Revelations and the last chapter of Daniel before you
go...or it may be a bit hard to follow. know the Scriptures. Dont get upset
early cause the slow beginning quickly becomes a snowball rolling down a hill at
ninety...YOU WILL NOT WANT TO GET UP THE LAST 30 MINUTES. God Bless you all.

Wow. The wife and I and a couple of good friends go out for dinner and a movie. The dinner
ran long and so looking at the movies to select from became an exercise in seeing how late
we could stay up. We chose "Omega Code" to see based entirely on the fact that
it was the only show starting in the next twenty minutes instead of an hour wait. We
absolutely knew nothing about it except for the ad in the paper that led us to believe it
was some sort of thriller based on codes, so okay I think: "Conspiracy Theory"
was okay, so was "Sneakers" and I loved "PI". Bad omens manifested
about what we were about to see by the opening montage logo "Providence
Films" Huh? THEN the actors: Michael York, Michael Ironsides (no film of redeeming
value ever featured Michael Ironsides), bad soap opera honey Oxenburg and the square jawed
caricature of an actor that plodded through Starship Troopers, I don't even care to
remember his name. This does not look good. Whoa!, worse than bad: jawdropping BAD! But
other's reviews have stated adequately all that's wrong with this film, what is
fascinating me now is I come home to check my e-bay auctions and out of curiosity search
for how many bad reviews are listed on the net for this pile of crap. NO major reviewer
has bothered, several papers blasted it, and all the reader review columns like this one
look JUST like this one: a handful of honest horrified victims and a majority of plastic
planted praise, bloated ballot stuffing and stunningly manufactured artifice designed to
get people into the theatre to support this propaganda under false pretense. Noone could
honestly say that this film has anything but horrible production, acting, script, etc.,
etc., ETC.! I find this whole notion of propping up support for a horrible film for
principle only as somehow psycholgically and culturally fascinating, but disturbing and
quite pathetic. The only redeeming value for this film is it's lack of obscene language.
Other reviewers have said: Finally! A movie that has no cursing, nudity or graphic
violence. Well duh. NO PG-13 movie has nudity or extreme violence. If you don't like it
don't go. Oh sorry, I forgot that that argument has never and never will mean anything to
the evil-seeking-so-that-it-may-be-banished
-lest-I-may-be-made-to-feel-guilt-because-I-really
kinda-like-a-little-sin-every-once-in-a-while hordes.

Saw it by pure accident last night, we chose the show based on it's starting time and none
of us had heard much about it, and we were all stunned by how bad it was. Not just bad:
we're talking jawdropping BAD. Then I check reviews to see how I can prevent this from
ever happening to us again and the "revelation" that TBN was behind this
explains alot, and now these reader review sites are loaded with transparently artificial
reviews telling how awesome this film is. Wow, I'm truly saddened and disgusted that the
Christian movemment must stoop to these propaganda tactics to lure victims into the
theatre. How ironic that a good deal of the Omega Code was about the blinded masses
following the antichrist on faith. Are the ploys of TBN and it's followers any
different?

I was not too impressed with this movie at all , when have we allowed some CODE BOOK to
interpret GOD's Word(s) for us?? So sad, to just imagine the day when we soon discover
through this technique of the Bible Code that SATAN is such a swell guy (not saying that
this is true, but we better be VERY careful how we get so easily led by trying to figure
things out with our natural means than allowing GOD to reveal it to us through His
Supernatural Power.)Those who lean so highly on this Bible Code need to Respect the
WORD(s) OF GOD a bit MORE, and STOP leaning on man's understanding, but start seeking
GOD's. How simple it would be to be enticed into believe that the Bible could be decoded
in such a way, I'm sure I could find my name by using this technique, mmmmm what would
that make me, or who knows we may get the name of the Antichrist revealed to us, and who
knows he could be living and breathing today, scary thought to where we could be so eaily
led astray from trying to decode GOD Word(s). Where will it all go to next, lets be a bit
more careful, and a bit more wiser. Sad to say I wouldn't be in a hurry to recommend this
film to any of my friends, maybe if it had MORE Truth of GOD's Word(s) in it, Sure!, but
not with it being so centered and focused on the Bible Code decoding GOD's Word(s), SO
SICK, and SAD.

Surprisingly good! I am definitely not a fan of Hal Lindsey who has made a
fortune writing books about the apocalytic end of the world provoked by the Anti-Christ.
Nonetheless, this is a good political sci/fi thriller with blunt theological
underpinings that works because of good production values, pacing and acting by Michael
York revealed as "The Man of Sin".I'm not sure Tom Clancey or Frederick Forsyth
could have done it better. And yes...the good guys win!

heard about this on the trinity channel, my biggest problem was, It wasn't playing in
Augusta, GA. When I came on Line and found it was playing for one day... My
heart jumped, I am going to get to see it after all. Then I started reading the
"reviews". Some were most disappointing. Based on that, I almost decided
not to go see the movie. I am so glad that I decided to go and to decide for myself.

The Hollywood
establishment and many of its devotees seem to prefer the nightmarish
"Halloween" series, and the typical Hollywood horror movies (which it turns out
by the hundreds), favoring such frightful films with rapt attention, while at the same
time displaying contempt for this Biblical s-f movie, which Sci-Fi Wire calls "a
religious s-f thriller." I myself have studiously avoided watching Hollywood's
"horror" films for all the 48 years of my lifetime on Earth... and yet I saw and
enjoyed the Biblical s-f thriller "The Omega Code," which I consider a good and
thought-provoking movie. In fact, I'd like to see it again in another week or two.
To see Michael York's performance as the Chancellor of the European Union, who is
unveiled as the Antichrist, is to me an intriguing proposition... since this fine
Shakespearean actor has now had the opportunity to play two opposite extremes of Earth's
history: John the Baptist and the Antichrist. Possibly the most righteous and most
evil persons of human history! Jesus said that no man more righteous than John had ever
lived, and I doubt that anyone can be much more evil than the Antichrist! York has now
portrayed both the historic saint (in Zefferelli's "Jesus Of Nazareth") and the
futuristic monster whom time produces as the ultimate tyrant, the greatest sinner of all
time. York's performance alone would make the movie worth watching, from my
perspective. But since Hal Lindsey is credited as the "Biblical Prophecy
Consultant" for the movie, it becomes something of an event-film, one that should be
of even more interest to Bible believers.

This was an
outstanding movie. I was exited about not having to listen to foul language.
There was no sexual content. Move movies are needed like this, it raises the
standards of the movie industry. I can understand were it would be hard to give it a
high rating. Because of the damage that it would so to the other so-called
entertaining pictures that have no social value at all. I believe that there is a
large demand for shows such as this.

this was one of the worst films I have ever seen from a technical standpoint. The
acting was poor, the plot worse yet. The script made both of these seem tolerable.
I traveled an hour to see this movie and took my whole family - because I wanted to
support the effort and I had heard from TBN what a great movie it was. Sorry guys,
it wasn't. I pray that your next effort will involve people who know how to write
plots and scripts. With such great material to draw from, this was a disgrace.

the best produced movie, but it sure gets the point across. It's so very sad to read
some of the reviews that clueless people have given it. The clueless will probably
stay clueless to the very end sad to say because they are so hard hearted. One day
they too just like us all will come before Jesus, every knee shall bow, and they will
remember the chance they had to get things right,,,and to ask Jesus to forgive them,,,but
it will be too late. Clueless is one thing, and stupidity, but eternity in hell with
no way out,,thats a fact and its going to happen whether you choose to believe it or not.
You will not be so eager to mouth off your clueless opinions about God and His
plans for you and the entire world. You will be screaming and crying out for mercy
and there will be none for God mockers. Of course you think Christians are Jesus
freaks, and of course you know everything. Boy are you going to be in for a big
surprise. You are being warned and probably will not heed but at least someone could
see through your ignorance and still wanted to try to reach thru all the muddle in your
brain. Be careful to mock what others are doing for the Kingdom of God, this movie
is at least a wake up call for those who will listen, and someday those few will be on
their knees thanking God for this movie, which woke them up long enough to realize they
needed salvation to keep them from a burning hell

like to see more like this! Only thing I didn't see was the details of the punishment,
wrath of the sinners, mark of the beast, etc. Of course I felt this was due to simply the
film being directed to the overall actions of what was going on in satan's empire, leaving
one to know that these things were going on outside his empire, just have to know the
Bible on that particular issue, but would like to have seen it added. Praise God, I
thought it was very well done. If people would study Revelation and Daniel then they would
have followed very clearly!

must see! It shows Hollywood that a movie with a descent theme and language can be a

We enjoyed seeing a part of Revelation viewed on "The Big Screen"! The scene
when the young man cried out to Jesus was a bold statement to The Truth. You probably will
not see it in any other media, television or motion picture... We felt that the time line
was a bit skewed however our 23 year old son who is very jaded by current movie, horror
& action, liked it. It provided us with thought provoking conversation during the

I applaude TBN for being concerned enough for the souls of people like those who have
bashed this movie. They are the very ones who neeeded to see it, however could not see
past their critical noses. For those of you who are truly concerned about the future of
hollywood and wish to see it change, the only way to see that happen is to support movies
such as this. They may not be the best you have ever seen but at least you don't go home
feeling you've been raped morally and emotionally. I also would like to share with you
that in the month of Dec. Blockbuster will be caring another Christian action film for
your veiwing. It is called ESCAPE 2020 HIGHER POWER. It is perfect for veiwers age 7
toteen years because it is full of action but has nothing objectional. And if you like the
music in it the soundtrack is available.Just by Christians supporting films such as this,
it sends a message to hollywood that says we will pack the theaters for you too if you'll
drop the s! mut. And if you are a Christian and you are packing the smut theaters then

This is by no means a great movie. However, it is much better than the biased Hollywood
critics would lead you to believe. It is a rather remarkable acomplishment when one
considers its low budget and lack of media hype. I did find some parts of the film to be
somewhat senseless and confusing, but overall the movie is entertaining and thought
provoking. Don't let the critics decide for you. See it for yourself. After all,
they are the same people who still can't understand why Touched By Angel is so popular.

have read some or must of the reviews from moviegoers. personally i would not be caught
dead putting down any faithful work of GOD. the crouch's did what they were led to do and
if GOD didn't like it he doesn't need anyones help getting rid of it. watch the
progress of this movie and you will know if GOD is pleased with their work and keep

movie was very poorly made. I thought it was up there with all the other movies in
Hollywood. The only thing that I would liked to have seen was the rapture happen

What about the Bible Code. Why would the Lord have someone write in Code? He
wants everyone to know him!!! So why would he hide the distruction of the world in a

The truth and the reality is remarable in this movie. Allot of Christian movies sorta sway
from the Bible and make it more "hollywoodish" but i think the 'Omega Code' did
a good job of not doing that. The acting and special effects, I admit, weren't that of
Independence Day but as far as low budget Christian films this is definately worth seeing.
I think that most critics that gave it a bad rating probably aren't too interested because
it's religious.

AWESOME!!! I've seen it three times! People were shouting
" Amen! Hallelujah! Glory " the whole time.
I'm only thirteen years old, and the moment I heard about this, I couldn't wait until
October 15th! My favorite parts would have to be the scenes with the two witnesses. Where
they surrounded Michael Ironside, and especially when they rose from the dead! I just pray
