Passion of Mind: Friday May  26, 2000

A psychological romantic drama where fantasy and reality become indistinguishable for a woman leading a double life in her dreams. In a remarkable dual performance, Demi Moore plays Marie and Marty. Marie is a beautiful but lonely American widow living with two daughters in the south of France who creates an imaginary existence in her dreams. But is she really Marie or is she Marty, a glamorous New York career woman dreaming of a life in Provence? Reluctant to reveal their increasing confusion to the men in each of their lives (Stellan Skarsgaard and William Fichtner), Marie and Marty must quickly discover which life is real and which a dream, before they both lose everything..© 2000 Paramount Pictures

Lanquid romantic movie.  But some published critics reviews may have missed the depth of the is it a dream plot.  Spend some time after the movie is over asking yourself which life really was the dream and you might come up with a different answer than the movie seems to give at the end. Go in a mellow mood not expecting oscar material.  Acting IMHO is good and the story has more to it than  you might realize at first.
