Ashley Bell plays Cathy, the Love & Air Sex character whose move to New York (to attend med school) partially contributes to her breakup with Stahl-David’s Stan. In the film, Cathy returns home to Austin to visit her best friend Kara (Sara Paxton). Bell starred in The Last Exorcism for which she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award and The Last Exorcism Part II. Her television credits include The United States of Tara, The Walking Dead and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. 

Sara Paxton - in an unforgettable performance - plays the role of Kara, Cathy’s best friend and the embittered ex-girlfriend of Jeff (Zach Cregger). While Kara knows that Stan is currently in Austin, she hides that fact from Cathy, insisting that the best way for the two of them to move on from their exes is to meet new guys. Paxton has been acting since a very young age and boasts numerous film and television credits, including Aquamarine, Sleepover, Summerland, The Last House on the Left, The Beautiful Life, The Innkeepers, Shark Night 3D, Cheap Thrills, and Lovestruck: The Musical.

Zach Cregger’s Jeff, having recently broken up with Kara, is overwhelmingly depressed over his breakup with Kara and is attempting to self-medicate with with alcohol, partying, and, of all things, entering into a local Air Sex competition. Cregger is best known for his work as both a writer and star of the sketch TV comedy The Whitest Kids U’Know. Film roles include The Civil War on Drugs, Miss March, and the upcoming Date and Switch with Nick Offerman.

They each discover a new sense of self and find an anchor to hold on to in the big city of Mumbai that so often crushes hopes and dreams. Still strangers physically, Ila and Saajan become lost in a virtual relationship that could jeopardize both their realities.
