Runaway Bride

Runaway Bride: Friday, July 30, 1999

Julia Roberts and Richard Gere team up again to make another romantic comedy. The first time these two were paired, was for the movie Pretty Woman, where Gere tries to romance a prostitute. Now that's romantic!  In Runaway Bride, Gere, plays a reporter who is assigned to write a story for Usatoday about a bride, played by Julia, who leaves her fiancés at the altar. Expect this one to draw the big crowds this weekend, since Julia Roberts has such a loyal following.
