Jigsaw and his apprentice Amanda are dead. Upon the news of Detective Kerry's murder, two seasoned FBI profilers, Agent Strahm (Scott Patterson) and Agent Perez, arrive at the depleted police precinct and help veteran Detective Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) sift through Jigsaw's latest grizzly game of victims and piece together the puzzle. Compared to saw 3 this film was like watching bambi! I was confused and unsatisfied by the ending !. Just too many questions!) each of the other films end with a good twist but leave it in a way where the viewer understands what has just happened. A messy sequel, too much going on and leading no where and running out of ideas for the "games" that maintain that shock factor.

The movie was ok. It didn't feel like it was written by the same person that wrote the first three. I thin kit was the worst enging of the 4, but still good. I think it left to many questions unanswered, but i guess thats the catch. I'll be there for Saw V

how can we rate this movie when we havent reached the end,As far as ratings go the games not over so lets enjoy and be frightened and curious, This is the night mare in elm street in my day,I never watched these movies after those, And now I have children who are in there with saw, And teenagers,Im watching them again,I loved the cleverness in saw,MAYBE A LITTLE GORY, but cant wait for the next one.

Call the cops because this series is on the loose!!! I frickin loved this movieeee.. best sequel of the 3 so far. Leads into SAW 5 perfectly because there are still big questions needed to be answered with big ones answered already in this one. With however many they were scheduled for, either 5 or 6, this will be the best series finale of all time for any horror movie!!! Too bad i have to wait another year...

i thought the movie was a bit boring and it wasnt gorry enough, when i herd it got a nc 17 rating in the u.s i expected it to be way worse than it was. it just go to the point where it wasnt cool anymore because they are running out of ideas for traps. but on the other hand , i do think that the ending was very cool , i think the third was the best.

I thougt that saw 4 was forced.( trying to milk the cow).Theyu running out of ideas so the keep bringin new people to the tale. I like the part were at the ends when there is 4 people getting ready to open the door .That was very good...It was intense.that was well done. but really saw 3 and 4 were milked. saw 2 is the best so far because of the writting , storytelling , plot . saw 2 was strongly connected to the first one .that's what makes it so unique. this serie needs to end quickly before it turns like rocky.

Yup, a confusing ending. My biggest problem with that was that the two cops looked too much alike, and it was hard to distinguish who's who. Thought it was a very good entry into the series. Somehow, dead Jigsaw got more screen time than when he was alive. Off to watch #3 again to make any sense of that ending.

Well, lets put it this way, if your not a fan of the movies or ir you werent paying attention, then you wont understand what happened. Dont let the beginning of the movie fool you, the "games" that took place in saw 4 took place at the same time that the "games" on saw 3 happened. yes they left it wide open at the end, but thats just a good marketing tool to get people to get to see saw 5 and 6, and sorry to disappoint people, but from what i hear, saw 5 wont release until halloween 2009, so dont be expecting it next year

This movie was awesome, regardless on if you guys say its crap or not, it isnt, the ending was one of the best ending ever because it kept your head turning and jumpin from question to question, unlike the other ones just actually pointing out what happens, ya you might want to know what happens after you just watched a whole movie, but this is a seris movie, so your not always supposed to get the whole thing, theres supposed to be gaps in the middle and walls for your mind to run into, so over all this movie was great just like the others.

Seriously, If you get to my review than you've read enough reviews by now. Too many people talk about how great these movies are. The Saw series isn't horror at all. Each movie is simply a glorified gore fest. Sadly, I was taken into this cult movie. I have seen the first 4 and by the third movie I thought they had made enough. Only one word can sum them all up, "disgusting". Why watch a movie just to see terrible characters die in rediculous traps with no chance of survival?!? Don't waste your time with these movies. And no I won't see Saw 5 or 6.
