The Story of Us

The Story of Ua Friday, October  15, 1999

The Story of Us, starring BRUCE WILLIS and MICHELLE PFEIFFER, is the very real and humorous examination of Ben and Katie Jordan's marriage. After 15 years, the couple is wrestling with the universal paradox: why are the qualities that made them fall in love in the first place now the very things pulling them apart?

I found the writing to be excellent. Willis and was great and Pheiffer was outstanding. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be entertained and moved by a good adult drama.

the story is strongly true. I haven't been married for 15 years, but already see that from this movie my life and relationship were going in that direction

An awful movie, one of the few movies I've ever walked out of.  The acting was bad, the writing dismal. I waited ten minutes for this movie to say something that seemed real and then gave up.

Michelle Pfeiffer's work was so good that the movie should be seen. Films are so long that only rarely does an actor/actress sustain quality and verve through all of it. The rest of the cast was good.  Brilliant in certain scenes, but Pfeiffer, a performance to remember.  Her task was to render the marriage's early happiness as well as its late aggravation and despair.  A wide range of emotions, difficult, but done beautifully. Most reviewers see too many movies.  Their wits and sensibilities are tired. Given that, much that is admirable will be missed, and much that is tawdry will pass muster.

I MUST SAY THAT THIS MOVIE IS PRETTY GOOD ALTHOUGH I WAS WAITING FOR BEN TO REALLY LOOK INTO HER EYES AND SEE THE TASK THAT IS BEFORE HER. SHE A GOOD DAM ACTRESS TO DO ALL OF THESE CHORES

I think that the story of us is great, because is real, and the majority of couples have those problems

I loved it. That's how marriages survive. If you don't take some bad with the good, forget it

The actor is fine and so is the actress. But the chemistry is a total disappointment... thus diminishing the essence of the story.

I enjoyed the movie greatly.  I thought it had a very realistic view on failing marriages.  Definately a must see!! Ruth Fernandes 17 yrs of age
