Tribeca Films has released the official trailer for A Very Merry Breakup, a holiday romantic comedy written and directed by Elizabeth Guest. The film follows Lydia, a love addict who thinks she’s finally ready to settle down with her dependable boyfriend Tim until his storybook Christmas in New York proposal sends her into a full‑blown panic.

After fleeing back home to Los Angeles, Lydia moves in with her parents all four of them and tries to regain control of her life. To stop her spiral, they host a New Year’s Eve party filled with every eligible bachelor they know. But when Tim unexpectedly shows up before midnight, Lydia must navigate a minefield of suitors to prove that the one love she’s truly addicted to is his.
